Why are textile care symbols important? What do they want to tell us?
When we buy a textile product, there is always a care label on it. It does not matter whether the product you buy is clothing or home textiles. Do you know what the symbols on this label mean?
Product care labels allow us to use the product we buy for longer. We don't want a textile product that we love to be trashed or spoiled in a short time. So why is the care and cleaning of each product different? This is because the cleaning and care procedure varies according to the type and structure of the fabric. For example, we cannot apply the same care process to cotton fabric and fabric made of silk. Silk fabric requires more delicate care.
When we look at most of the maintenance symbols, we can understand what they are, but some of them can be symbols that we rarely come across and the situation can get complicated. For this reason, we have tried to briefly list the most common maintenance symbols.
